Dr. Michelle Hamilton is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Certified Massage Therapist.
After finishing her undergrad studies at Cal Poly University, Michelle went on to complete a 4-year
Master’s Degree from the nationally ranked Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA.
She completed her Doctorate in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2021.
Embodying her mission is to make acupuncture and Chinese medicine affordable and accessible to
everyone, she founded Zen Den in 2018 on a breeze-way patio of her traditional 1:1 private clinic. With ten
recliners lined up outside and one free lunch hour a week, her community clinic was born. Four years later,
her side hustle has become a cornerstone in the community, treating 150+ patients a week. Michelle was
voted best Acupuncturist of SLO County in 2021 and 2022.
An avid trail runner, 2 time marathon winner, yogi and adventure junkie, Michelle lives in San Luis
Obispo, Ca with her two children.
